MEMORIAL OF THE QUEENSHIP OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY - (LK 1:26-38) - THE WORD OF GOD FOR EVERYONE

"Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus." (Lk 1:31)

READING OF THE DAY

A reading from the Book of Ezekiel

Ez 36:23-28

Thus says the LORD:

I will prove the holiness of my great name,

profaned among the nations,

in whose midst you have profaned it.

Thus the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD,

when in their sight I prove my holiness through you.

For I will take you away from among the nations,

gather you from all the foreign lands,

and bring you back to your own land.

I will sprinkle clean water upon you

to cleanse you from all your impurities,

and from all your idols I will cleanse you.

I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you,

taking from your bodies your stony hearts

and giving you natural hearts.

I will put my spirit within you and make you live by my statutes,

careful to observe my decrees.

You shall live in the land I gave your ancestors;

you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY

From the Gospel according to Matthew

Mt 22:1-14

Jesus again in reply spoke to the chief priests and the elders of the people in parables

saying, "The Kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king

who gave a wedding feast for his son.

He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the feast,

but they refused to come.

A second time he sent other servants, saying,

'Tell those invited: "Behold, I have prepared my banquet,

my calves and fattened cattle are killed,

and everything is ready; come to the feast."'

Some ignored the invitation and went away,

one to his farm, another to his business.

The rest laid hold of his servants,

mistreated them, and killed them.

The king was enraged and sent his troops,

destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.

Then the king said to his servants, 'The feast is ready,

but those who were invited were not worthy to come.

Go out, therefore, into the main roads

and invite to the feast whomever you find.'

The servants went out into the streets

and gathered all they found, bad and good alike,

and the hall was filled with guests.

But when the king came in to meet the guests

he saw a man there not dressed in a wedding garment.

He said to him, 'My friend, how is it

that you came in here without a wedding garment?'

But he was reduced to silence.

Then the king said to his attendants, 'Bind his hands and feet,

and cast him into the darkness outside,

where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.'

Many are invited, but few are chosen."

MEMORIAL OF THE QUEENSHIP OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY - LK 1:26-38

THE WORD OF GOD FOR EVERYONE

The Word of God for Everyone

Dear People of God,

Today the Church celebrates the Blessed Virgin Mary with the title of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Word of God today, God says: The Blessed Virgin Mary Queen is the Mother of God, the Mother of all humanity, and the Mother of all virgins. God placed her in a very significant position in His Plan of Salvation. There is no other woman in this world that God calls Full of Grace, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit like her. God placed her from time immemorial in His Plan of Salvation. Mary was completely obedient to God at all times and in all places, unlike Eve who disobeyed God, acted against His command, and freely followed her own will.

To save souls from the captivity of Satan, the Blessed Mother accepted suffering with God. Blessed Mother loved her children by sacrificing everything and giving away everything that belonged to her. The Blessed Mother did not follow her own will but obeyed God's will in all places and at all times, from the smallest things to the greatest things.

Today, the Blessed Mother has returned to heaven but she is always present and alive with humanity. The Blessed Mother is always watching and listening to her children who are earnestly praying and running to take refuge under her virginal mantle. She has given grace and cared for her children here on earth and right now.

Today, celebrating the Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, she calls all of her children:

- To Cooperate with God, sacrifice ourselves, obey God's will in all places and at all times. God assigns each person a different responsibility and mission. The important thing is that each person knows how to carry out His will.

- To Look at the example of the Blessed Mother Mary in the past. She obeyed God's will and fulfilled the duty God gave her by carrying and giving birth to the Son of God.

Today, she wants her children to also fulfill the duty God gave to each person. To fulfill our duties, everyone should follow her twelve virtues:

-The Three theological virtues: Faith, Hope, and Charity.

-The Four Cardinal virtues: Prudence, Fortitude, Justice, and Temperance.

-The Three Virtues in the Main Quest in Kingdom Come: Poverty, Obedience, and Chastity.

- The Two virtues follow Jesus' example: Meekness and Humility.

These twelve virtues must always be attached to her children like a cloak that protects, preserves, and defends us from the attacks of Satan. These are the things that the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mother wants to remind her children of.

- To Run to God, come to hide under her pure mantle through the rosary, and then we will fulfill the duty that God has given us. As in the past, the Blessed Mother Mary was obedient and feared God. Today everyone should look up to the Blessed Mother Mary's example as, the Immaculate Conception, the Perpetual Virginity of Mary, the Assumption of Mary, body and soul, ascended into heaven. Follow her example by living a humble life, obeying God's will at all times, in all places, in all circumstances. And always be faithful to the mission that God has given us.

Thanks be to God. Amen
